I’m honestly not sure how to rate this book. On one hand, I absolutely loved it. It pulled me in from the very first page, with a unique worldbuilding ,especially the magic system. It’s exciting, the characters really grew on me, and there’s a plot twist I did not see coming. But… I didn’t love the ending. So maybe 5 stars up until the last 5%? And 4-4.5 in total 🤔🤷🏻♀️ Still a great read!
Without spoiling anything, it was more of an emotional reaction that made me dislike the ending, because the concept itself is actually brilliant.
That being said, this is definitely a book everyone should read! It was such a fun ride, and very different from most of what’s circulating on Bookstagram right now. 💁🏻♀️
