Like I mentioned in a previous post, for a while now I’ve had this idea brewing: a set of tarot card illustrations inspird by readers and stories. I know it’s been done before by multiple artist, but I still feel like doing my take on it✨🤷🏻♀️
This finished sketch is the first card, and I’ve called it The Battle.
It represents those inner turning points, when a character faces something that changes everything. Growth, surrender, transformation. And I think we as readers feel that too, in those moments that stay with us long after the book ends.
The big question is, should these cards just live in my sketchbook – or should I move them on to a big canvas?
